People start realising that there might be legal issues that were not considered or design implications that might make mass production impossible or at least impractical.

What happens to the list of great ideas from the workshop? Nothing. It stays exactly what it is – a list of great ideas.

#2: Include diverse members in the discussion

This will help to make sure that all points of view are accounted for and those in the know may be able to nip something that won’t work in the bud before you waste time investigating it. These people include different functions, or they could even be your suppliers, partners, customers or a naive expert.
