At the end of your session, it is also a good idea to conduct a post-session survey to close the loop and gauge the actual effectiveness of the work done. This is also a good time to gather feedback and make your next session a better one.
Some examples of questions you can use for your post-session survey:
How well did today’s session meet your objectives?
Do you feel you had an opportunity to contribute as much as you wanted to?
How confident are you about the ideas born out of the session today?
What would have made the session better?
